Welcome. My name is Marisa Franca Stewart and I’m the food developer, chef, writer and photographer behind Cooks for Two.
Jim, my Hubby and kitchen partner, and I are empty nesters who love to cook and travel. No matter where we go, our first requirement is a kitchen.
We started Cooks for Two in 2019 because most recipes we found on the Internet and cookbooks were for four or more servings. Today, it’s a blog we dedicate to recipes for two servings.
We enjoy experimenting with new flavors and ingredients and sharing our findings. Most of the time it’s just the two of us so we gear our recipes for two servings.

When we’re not busy blogging or cooking Jim is fishing while I’m practicing on my photography and filming. The best part about Jim’s fishing is, that if he’s lucky, we get to use the catch in a recipe.
In case you’re wondering why I occasionally use Italian words, it’s because I’m Italian born. And I have to confess there is nothing more an Italian loves to do is cook and talk about food.
